ELTA Madagascar Mahajanga successfully held its first-ever chapter meetup at the American Corner Mahajanga. Centered on Team Building and Professional Development, the event brought English language teachers together to collaborate, create practical teaching materials, and strengthen their professional community.

ELTA Madagascar’s Regular Meet-Up N°12, held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, brought together English educators in Antananarivo, Antsirabe, and Fianarantsoa for an inspiring session focused on collaborative growth, technology-enhanced learning, and community building.

June 2026 has been a milestone month for ELTA Madagascar, marked by major achievements in English language education, including the completion of the English for Law Enforcement program, the certificate ceremony for diplomats at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the inauguration of the ELTA Mahajanga Chapter, and the English Language Education Summit held at ENS Ampefiloha.

On June 20, 2026, ELTA Madagascar officially inaugurated its Mahajanga Chapter, marking an important milestone for English language education in the region. The ceremony brought together educators, partners and local representatives committed to supporting professional development and improving learning opportunities for students.

ELTA Madagascar, with the support of the U.S. Embassy Madagascar, launched Day 1 of the American English Training of Trainers, a key step in strengthening English language instruction within police and gendarme academies across Madagascar.

The ELTA Madagascar team gathered at FL House Ambatobe for a one-day team-building session focused on “Empathy in Action.” The event emphasized the importance of understanding others’ perspectives to strengthen collaboration and build a more supportive educational community.

ELTA Madagascar was proudly represented at the TESOL Convention 2026 in Salt Lake City, USA, by its President and General Secretary. Their participation highlighted the origins of the association and its commitment to professional development.
