ELTA Regular Meet-Up N°12 Was a Success! ELTA Madagascar successfully held its Regular Meet-Up N°12 on Saturday, June 27, 2026, bringing together English educators from Antananarivo, Antsirabe, and Fianarantsoa for a meaningful moment of professional exchange, collaboration, and community building. Under the spirit of “Stronger Together”, this meet-up reminded participants of the importance of sharing experiences, supporting one another, and growing as a professional learning community. Across the three hubs, educators showed remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to improving English language teaching in Madagascar. Growing Together Through Collaboration The session began with a Collaborative Growth team-building activity. Participants reflected on the value of professional bonds and explored ways to strengthen support networks among teachers. The discussions were rich and inspiring, highlighting how collaboration can help educators face challenges, share practical solutions, and continue developing their teaching practices together. Exploring Technology for Collaborative Learning The professional development segment focused on Integrating Technology for Collaborative Learning. Participants discussed practical ways to use digital tools and strategies to encourage teamwork, interaction, and active student engagement in English classrooms. This session provided teachers with useful ideas to make learning more dynamic, participatory, and connected to today’s educational needs. Sharing, Caring, and Building Community In addition to the professional learning activities, the meet-up also created space for friendship and informal exchange. The sandwich potluck was a great success, allowing participants to share food, conversations, laughter, and memorable moments together. This spirit of sharing reflected the heart of the ELTA Madagascar community: educators learning from one another and growing together.
