On Saturday, October 24, 2026, ELTA Madagascar successfully held its 14th Regular Meet-Up, bringing together passionate educators for another opportunity to learn, exchange ideas and strengthen professional connections.
The event took place simultaneously at four locations across Madagascar:
Antananarivo: Lycée Andohalo
Antsirabe: Lovasoa 4C Antsirabe
Mahajanga: American Corner Mahajanga
Diego: Lycée Mixte Diego
BUILDING A COLLECTIVE VISION
The meet-up featured engaging team-building activities centered on "Collective Vision." Through collaborative discussions and interactive challenges, participants reflected on their shared aspirations for ELTA Madagascar and explored how working together can create a stronger, more supportive professional community.
The activities also provided opportunities for members to connect, share experiences and contribute ideas for the association's future.
STRENGTHENING CLASSROOM PRACTICES
Professional development was another highlight of the event, with a workshop on "Assessment for Learning & Effective Feedback."
Participants explored practical approaches to designing assessments aligned with learning objectives, using assessment results to inform teaching and providing constructive feedback that supports students' progress.
Through discussions, real-life classroom scenarios and collaborative activities, teachers exchanged strategies they can adapt to their own teaching contexts.
AN UPDATE FROM FIANARANTSOA
Unfortunately, the meet-up initially scheduled at American Space E-Atiala, University Andrainjato, Fianarantsoa, could not take place due to an unexpected issue.
ELTA Madagascar sincerely apologizes to everyone who had planned to attend and appreciates their patience and understanding.
GROWING TOGETHER, MOVING FORWARD
Beyond professional development, Regular Meet-Up #14 was another reminder of what makes ELTA Madagascar special: a community of educators who believe in learning from one another and growing together.
